- The Promoter
The promoter is: Chargemaster Limited of 500 Capability Green, Luton, LU1 3LS (“BP Chargemaster”).
- The competition
2.1 The competition is called “12 Days of Polar”.
2.2 BP Chargemaster is offering a different prize every day between the 1st and 12th of December 2019 to 12 people through the BP Chargemaster Twitter pages.
- How to enter.3.1 The competition will run from 08.30am on 01.12.2019 (the “Opening Date”) to Midnight on 12.12.2019 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. Each individual date of the competition shall be referred to as a “Competition Date”.
3.2 To enter the competition:
(a) The entrant must visit BP Chargemaster’s Twitter page and find the 12 Days of Polar “prize post” for that given Competition Date.
(b) They must then ‘like’ and ‘retweet’ the prize post.
Liking and retweeting the prize post on a given Competition Date will be considered a “competition entry” for that Competition Date, and the entrant will be deemed to have entered the competition (for that Competition Date only).
3.3 BP Chargemaster will not accept any transmission/sharing of the prize post as a competition entry, unless carried out in the manner described in clause 3.2 above.
3.4 By submitting a competition entry, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.5 On each Competition Date, BP Chargemaster will offer a different prize. The prize post will be posted at 8.30am on BP Chargemaster’s twitter page. Competition entries will be accepted till midnight on that date. Any competition entries after midnight will not be considered.
For example, the prize post for the 1st Competition Date will be posted at 08:30am on the 1st December and will close at midnight on that date. The prize post for the 2nd Competition Date will then be posted at 8.30am on the 2nd December and will close at midnight on that date.
3.6 The competition entries will be recorded during each Competition Date. One competition entry will be selected at random by BP Chargemaster to win the prize for that specific Competition Date. BP Chargemaster’s decision in regard shall be final and binding.
- Eligibility
4.1 The competition is open to all residents in the UK, except:
(a) employees of BP Chargemaster or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of BP Chargemaster or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 The entrant does not need to be a Polar customer at time of entry. However, please note that some prizes may require a valid Polar account. Winners can open a new Polar account in order to claim their prize. Any new Polar account, will be subject to Polar’s standard terms and conditions.
4.3 By submitting a competition entry in the manner described in clause 3.2 above, the entrant confirms that it is eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. BP Chargemaster may require the entrant to provide proof that it is eligible to enter the competition.
4.4 BP Chargemaster will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer;
(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;
4.5 There is a limit of one entry to the competition per person per Competition Date. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
4.6 BP Chargemaster reserves all rights to disqualify the entrant if its conduct is contrary to the spirit and/or intention of the prize competition. BP Chargemaster’s decision in regard shall be final and binding.
- The prize
5.1 The prize for a given Competition Date shall be announced on the next working day. Please note that each prize may be subject to separate, additional terms and conditions in addition to these terms and conditions.
5.2 Unless specifically stated, the prizes awarded under this competition cannot be exchanged for cash.
5.3 Prizes is not negotiable or transferable.
5.4 If applicable, the winner will be required to abide by usual Polar Terms and Conditions, available at https://bpchargemaster.com/polar/terms-and-conditions/
- Winners
6.1 The selection of a winner by BP Chargemaster is final. BP Chargemaster will not engage in any discussions and/or correspondence in relation to the same.
6.2 The winners for a given Competition Date will be notified through Twitter direct messenger.
6.3 BP Chargemaster may request personal details of the winner as required to arrange the delivery of the prize.
- Claiming the prize
7.1 In certain circumstances, delivery/activation of the prize may be delated. Please allow 2 months for delivery of the prize
7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winner.
7.3 BP Chargemaster will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is unavailable, or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of BP’s direct message pursuant to clause 6.2, BP Chargemaster reserves the right to offer the prize to another eligible entrant selected at random from the correct entries that were received on the relevant Competition Date.
7.4 BP Chargemaster does not accept any responsibility whatsoever if a winner is not able to take up the prize.
- Limitation of liability
8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, BP Chargemaster, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an entrant, or accept any liability whatsoever, under these terms and conditions.
8.2 Nothing in clause 8.1 above limits entrants’ statutory rights.
- Data protection and publicity
9.1 Insofar as it is applicable, BP Chargemaster will hold and process an entrant’s personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy on the Polar website (https://bpchargemaster/polar/privacy_policy/).
- General
10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, BP Chargemaster reserves the right to exclude an entrant from participating in the competition, and/or to disqualify a competition entry, at its sole discretion.
10.2 BP Chargemaster reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition (in whole or in part), at its sole discretion.
10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10.4 BP Chargemaster may change these terms and conditions from time to time. Please check BP Chargemaster Twitter page for any changes.
