Chargemaster, the UK’s largest provider of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, has extended the operating hours of its customer services team, while continuing to provide 24-hour emergency charging support. It remains the only UK charging network operator to offer 24/7 support for users.
Chargemaster customer services will open one hour earlier, at 7.30am, and finish later, at 9.30pm, on weekdays, and has grown its team so that more lines are open during the day. Chargemaster has tripled the size of its customer services team within the last 18 months.
Its new customer service opening hours are:
- Weekdays – 7.30am to 9.30pm
- Saturday – 8.30am to 5.30pm
- Sunday – 10.30am to 7.30pm
Out of hours, Chargemaster’s team of professional engineers operates a 24-hour emergency charging support service, to help customers who may be experiencing difficulties. The company has also invested in pop-up work tents to enable its engineers to carry out more complex work under cover in inclement weather.
David Martell, Chief Executive of Chargemaster said, “Great customer service is a vital part of how we support electric vehicle drivers in the UK. Helping those who are using charging points, especially for the first time, is important in providing a smooth experience. Our 24/7 support is unrivalled and our customers appreciate being able to contact us at any time.”
