Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. 1. The Promoter
      The promoter is: Chargemaster Limited t/a bp pulse, of Breckland, Linford Wood, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK14 6GY (“bp pulse”).
   2. The competition
      2.1 The competition is called “The Great Electric Escape Weekly Treasure Hunt”.
      2.2 bp pulse is offering three (3) prizes of £20, £10 and £5, in the form of bp pulse membership credit (on the basis set out at 11.1 below) to customers who provide the correct location of a charging point in response to treasure hunt clues posted on the bp pulse Twitter account each week for a period of 12 weeks starting on 17th May 2021. The prizes correspond to the first, second and third correct comment on the weekly Treasure Hunt post of the bp pulse Twitter account (@bppulseuk).
   3. How to enter
      3.1 The competition will run from 10am on 17.05.2021 (the “Opening Date”) to Midnight on 09.08.2021 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. Each individual date of the competition shall be referred to as a “Competition Date”. A “Competition Week” means 00.00 Monday to 23.59 on Sunday each week that the competition is running.
      3.2 To enter the competition: On a Competition Date the entrant must comment on the weekly Treasure Hunt post on the bp pulse Twitter account @bppulseuk. Each comment on the weekly Treasure Hunt post within a competition date will be considered a “competition entry” for that Competition Week, and the entrant will be deemed to have entered the competition (for that Competition week only).
      3.3 By submitting a competition entry, the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
      3.4 There will be a prize of credit available and will be given at the end of each Competition Week. The competition will start on 17th May 2021 and will run until the  following Monday, then the winner(s) for that week will be notified and credit added to their account.
      3.5 The competition entries will be monitored and the chronologically first, second and third correct answers to the weekly Treasure Hunt post on Twitter (@bppulseuk) will be awarded £20, £10 or £5 in membership credit respectively for that specific Competition Week. bp pulse’s decision in making such awards shall be final and binding. Only one entry per person per Competition Week is permitted. If you provide the correct answer multiple times, only the first correct Competition Entry will be eligible.
   4. Eligibility
      4.1 The competition is open to all residents in the UK, except:(a) employees of bp pulse or its holding or subsidiary companies;
      (b) employees of agents or suppliers of bp pulse or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
      (c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
      4.2 The entrant needs to be a registered user of bp pulse public charging services at time of entry, as a subscriber or a pay-as-you-go registered user of the bp pulse app, and have active payment details on their account. Any bp pulse account, will be subject to bp pulse’s standard terms and conditions.
      4.3 By submitting a competition entry in the manner described in clause 3.2 above, the entrant confirms that it is eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. bp pulse may require the entrant to provide proof that it is eligible to enter the competition.
      4.4 bp pulse will not accept competition entries that are:
      (a) automatically generated by computer;
      (b) completed by third parties or in bulk.
      4.5 A person may only submit one correct entry per person per week. Multiple correct entries will not be considered eligible. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
      4.6 bp pulse reserves all rights to disqualify the entrant if the entrant does not meet the eligibility criteria and / or its conduct is contrary to the spirit and/or intention of the prize competition. bp pulse’s decision in regard shall be final and binding.
   5. The prize
      5.1 The prize for a each Competition Week shall be announced on Monday of each week for the proceeding Competition Week.
      5.2 The prizes awarded under this competition cannot be exchanged for cash.
      5.3 Prizes are not negotiable or transferable.
      5.4 If applicable, the winner will be required to abide by usual bp pulse Terms and Conditions, available at https://bpchargemaster.com/terms-and-conditions/
   6. Winners
      6.1 The selection of a winner by bp pulse is final. bp pulse will not engage in any discussions and/or correspondence in relation to the same.
      6.2 The winners for a given Competition Week will be notified by Direct Message on Twitter.
      6.3 bp pulse may request personal details of the winner as required to arrange the delivery of the prize.
   7. Claiming the prize
      7.1 In certain circumstances, delivery/activation of the prize may not be immediate. Please allow 2 working days for delivery of the prize.
      7.2 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on behalf of the winner.
      7.3 bp pulse will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, is unavailable, or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of bp pulse’s direct message pursuant to clause 6.2, bp pulse reserves the right to offer the prize to another eligible entrant selected at random from the correct entries that were received on the relevant Competition Date.
      7.4 bp pulse does not accept any responsibility whatsoever if a winner is not able to take up the prize.
   8. Limitation of liability
      8.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, bp pulse, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate an entrant, or accept any liability whatsoever, under these terms and conditions.
      8.2 Nothing in clause 8.1 above limits entrants’ statutory rights.
   9. Data protection and publicity
      9.1 Insofar as it is applicable, bp pulse will hold and process an entrant’s personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy on the Polar website (https://bpchargemaster.com/privacy-notice/).
   10. General
       10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, bp pulse reserves the right to exclude an entrant from participating in the competition, and/or to disqualify a competition entry, at its sole discretion.
       10.2 bp pulse reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the competition (in whole or in part), at its sole discretion.
       10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
       10.4 bp pulse may change these terms and conditions from time to time. Please check bp pulse website for any changes.
   11. Energy Calculations
       11.1 Energy calculations are based on an assumed average energy efficiency of 4 miles per kWh and an assumed unit price of £0.20/kWh.
